We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the very well stocked and clean house, to the beautiful lake to the fact that the owner was available for questions and concerns we had while planning during the Pandemic. I would highly recommend the house except I don’t want too much competition so we can visit again!

We had a great time. The cottage was immaculate, well equipped and cozy…especially with the gas insert fireplace in the cool evenings. The lake was soo beautiful. It was nice to have the kayak handy to paddle around in! Thinking of returning during the summer months sometime!

The cozy little cottage was perfect for our girls weekend! The colors were peaking and our morning views were beautiful on the lake. We loved it and would definitely come back!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful weekend away at Mike’s place in Lenox during the last weekend of October. Incredible setting plus a short drive to town was just what we wanted. Thanks for hosting us and we hope to come back in the warmer weather to really enjoy everything the property has to offer!

“Lovely place to relax and enjoy your vacation. My family and I have visited the Cooney Cottage for two years in a row, and are planning our third visit. The house is lovely – the owners take obvious care of the home and they provide everything you can imagine, from kitchen supplies to towels to jigsaw puzzles. Each year, I look forward to my week spent on the porch, dividing my time between a book and simply gazing out at the lake, though last year I did venture out in one of the kayaks to look for the eagles who were rumored to be nesting by the lake. If you are looking for a place to really relax, you’ve found it, and I can’t recommend this cottage highly enough.”

“Such a peaceful little cottage on the lake. The sunrise was amazing. We paddled out in the rowboat and my son spend hours taking photos kayaking around. A little chilly at night since it was in October but when we ran the gas fireplace and space heaters it was cozy!! We will definitely come back.”

“We loved the little beach area, so nice and clean and raked. The cottage is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the beach, and canoed a couple times each day. We liked taking walks down the quite, woody road. With renting a cottage, sometimes you do not know what you are getting. Your site has a nice description and it is loaded with pictures. We feel that what we saw in your pictures on your site is what we got. We left with many warm and wonderful memories that will be with us forever. ”

We enjoyed our stay in this sweet cottage. The early morning on the screened porch were especially lovely. Each room was well equipped and comfortable.
